Like father, like daughter...

Our techy baby would much rather stare at the screen on her fancy, high tech swing than actually swing in it...we have to be careful to not get too much drool on the buttons. I know she's sitting there thinking "if i could just make this thing louder...and faster... can I get Craigslist on this screen??"

Valentine's Day Fun

Ruby had a wonderful first Valentine's Day and was definitely feeling the love! She wanted to show you some of her presents.

Diesel got a present from Papa and Nana too! In the loving memory of Milton, he also got a little note saying "stop eating Ruby's toys" :) YUM!

Nona's friend Denise made us a very sweet quilt and we LOVE to play on it and snuggle in it.

She snuggled up to Lion and gave him some cuddles. they are BFF afterall.

But we all know who her real Valentine is. Lucky girl......

Good friends, Good conversation.

Ruby has started having little conversation with her friends. Especially her lion and elephant. I don't know what exactly they're discussing...but it sounds important. Here is Ruby and Franklin discussing their favorite episode of Baby Einstein... I think.

Our First casualty

We've met our first fallen soldier in the war of Roo's toys vs. Diesel. He's been really good about knowing which toys are his to chew and which ones he's not allowed to touch. The giraffe, however, must've stepped out of line....he didn't stand a chance.

He was given back to Diesy for a proper burial in the back yard.... eventually.

RIP, Milton.

Video!

We've been trying to take some videos with the web cam and Roo is still getting used to the idea... Here's our first attempt. Trying to post these while Ruby cooperates is becoming an art. The updates are short, but as we learn together how to time this right, they'll get more detailed. Love, Kelli and Roo
