Basketball, Bouncers, and Bananas!

Roo wanted to stand up so badly all the time we caved and got her a bouncer just a little early. Appropriately named a "jumperRoo" :) - She loves to sit in it and get excited when it makes noise. Daddy bought her the one with the most little bells and whistles so she can be entertained for a long time!! Her favorite thing to do is chew on the edge as you can see:

Her feet don't quite touch the ground yet, so we use a pillow to give her a boost!

We also went to our first sporting event with Ruby last weekend! Intel and HP played in a basketball game vs. eachother and we were lucky enough to get courtside seats! It's nice to know people.... :) It was a little overwhelming at first for Ruby, but she settled right in and even took a nap in the third quarter! Then we posed for pictures with Daddy afterwards.

We've also been busy learning how to sit up!

How to look up stuff on YouTube with Daddy...

and finally - we've been learning how to try food with a spoon! Here we have some of our first bites of bananas. The doctor said we could start introducing little bits of food this early. So far we've tried some Jello - a slippery messy disaster ruby thouroughly enjoyed! and Bananas - not quite the favorite Jello is, but still very fun and messy! She's finding the camera interesting too, but that's ok because we get to see those big, beautiful eyes!

Yummy!

  2. Hey Ruby,
If mom would just hold that spoon still, you wouldn't have to wear the bananas! Your dad was so bored with dinner once, he fell asleep and did a face plant in his spaghetti. You're still a pretty girl... even with all that mush on your face.
    Love you,
    Papa
